WHO WE ARE

THEMEP is a non-profit Christian organization founded on a strong faith in marriage as one of God’s ordained and established Institution. The project promotes and teaches biblical principles that support family, marriage and child-development, both through research and resources made available for both spiritual purposes and to enrich our daily lives. The project and activities are tailored to educate, empower and inspire families through research and resources to bring families and marriages closer to fulfilment, according to the original plan of God. Genesis 2 24, Mark 10 6-9.

OUR MISSION

THEMEP is a project that teaches and promotes biblical principles that support family, marriage and child-development, as well as cooperating with the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. We are promoting and defending God as an established and ordained institution of the family and marriage biblically worldwide.

THEMEP believe that the purpose of life is to know God and glorify Him through an intimate relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. This purpose is lived out first within our own families. Then, we extend it out of love to an increasingly broken world that desperately needs Him. Through our research, websites, books, counselling and more, we focus on the family and equip parents, children and spouses to thrive in a complicated and ever-changing world.

OUR BELIEFS AND VALUES

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling a Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Michael Babatunde holds a BA (Hon) in Banking and Finance, and MSc Finance and Management in one of the most prestigious universities in the UK. A dedicated Christian with a strong belief in God as an established and ordained Institution of the family. He is also blessed with a wonderful family.

Hawanatu Babatunde, coordinator

Hawanatu Babatunde is a nurse and dedicated Christian with a strong belief in God as an established and ordained Institution of the family. She is also blessed with a wonderful family.
